I'm fundraising for Childhood Eye Cancer Trust

My name is Ryu - I am a survivor of retinoblastoma. Through this challenge, I want to support families facing the same challenges that my own family once endured. I also hope to raise awareness of the disease so that more children can be diagnosed and treated early, giving them the best possible chance of preserving their eyesight.

I'm taking part in CHECT's virtual Hospital to Hospital challenge from 15th August to 14th September with my wife, Mayu, and my friend, James. We'll be covering the distance of 244 miles (round trip) over 31 days - the distance between The Royal London Hospital and Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital, the only two hospitals in the UK treating retinoblastoma (Rb).

Every mile covered and every pound raised will help to continue to deliver lifelong support to those who need it; drive early diagnosis and understanding; and reduce the negative impact of retinoblastoma.

Please support us in this challenge!

Friday 24th Jul
