My target 122 mi
I'm fundraising for Childhood Eye Cancer Trust
I'm taking part in CHECT's virtual Hospital to Hospital challenge this August and I'll be covering the distance of 122 miles (one way)/244 miles (round trip) over 31 days - the distance between The Royal London Hospital and Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital, the only two hospitals in the UK treating retinoblastoma (Rb).
Every mile covered and every pound raised will help to continue to deliver lifelong support to those who need it; drive early diagnosis and understanding; and reduce the negative impact of retinoblastoma.
Please support me in this challenge!

Walking round Handsworth park
Friday 21st Aug Beautiful Handsworth park never fails to impress. Looking at the swans. Enjoying the rain Share
Day 3 skating on scooters round summer field park
Thursday 20th Aug After picking up the girls from their holiday camp we all headed off to the local park. Scooters at hand we followed the blue mile line through the rain. Collecting fern cones ready for decorating. If you know me there is a whole other story to tell you about this evening in our local park and remind me to tell you...We are getting close to the teams fundraising target and are very emotional to see people who have known of us for quite some time dig quite so deep and beautiful so kind. The money we raise together will impact on people's lives for ever.......speaking with a friend today who read the post and has done some more reading into eye cancer.....which also means a lot to us as spreading awareness especially about something that is rare is so important..... THANK YOU 💯💕💕 Share
