Hospital to Hospital

The begining

Three children into life and the first grandchild arrives, baby Jahsiah. By some miracle the diagnosis is achieved by 4 weeks old, and the first laser operation has been accomplished. Baby and mom and dad are at the beginning of their lifelong journey through living with eye cancer and they have all ready been blessed by the childhood cancer team, so as a proud mom and nan I wish you to join me at the beginning of my journey supporting those that give so much, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and look forward to sharing with you our wheeling virtually to London.....

We're fundraising for Childhood Eye Cancer Trust

We're taking part in CHECT's virtual Hospital to Hospital challenge this August and we'll be covering the distance of 122 miles (one way)/244 miles (round trip) over 31 days - the distance between The Royal London Hospital and Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital, the only two hospitals in the UK treating retinoblastoma (Rb).

Every mile covered and every pound raised will help to continue to deliver lifelong support to those who need it; drive early diagnosis and understanding; and reduce the negative impact of retinoblastoma.
